Laver bread

 

Laver bread (Welsh Traditional Breakfast)

Ingredients:

A sort of Seaweed pancake
1 cup Fresh or canned Laver bread
1/4 cup medium Fine oatmeal
Procedure:

Mix the laver bread and the oatmeal together and shape into little rissole like cakes about 2 inches across and 3/4 inch thick.

Slide the laver cakes into the hot bacon fat and fry fairly quickly for 2-3 minutes on each side.

Then shaping and patting the cakes with a palette knife as they fry.

Last thing is to do remove from pan for you breakfast.

Serve straight away.
